About 9 x 6, gouache, ink, colored pencil.
Somewhat stylized horse skull on page of old book. I had the idea that I should be able to paint with gouache on a page, then draw over it. This is the first experiment in that medium. I tried walnut ink first, but it's absorbed too easily by the paint. Colored pencil works much better.
